Welcome

NeedSomeSkill.com is an on-line gaming site that was founded by Hitech and Maji in March of 2002.

The original idea was Hitech's; He would tell his Counter-Strike victims to go to needsomeskill.com. Well, they started saying that they did and there's no such site. That's when he talked to me about creating it and soon after we had an on-line gaming community, complete with forums and a Counter-Strike server.

Over the years, we've played Quake, Quake II, Counter-Strike, City of Heroes/Villains, Guild Wars and much more. We currently enjoy Champions-Online, Star Trek and most recently, Aion while we wait for GuildWars2.

Champions Online

Developed by the original developers of City of Heroes/Villains!

The Blood Moon has risen! Join the fight against Takofanes in Millennium City, become a Werewolf or Hunter on Monster Island, or jump into Zombie Apocalypse PvP.
The Celestial power set has been released. Players will need to complete the Dawn of the Undead Heroes event if they wish to unlock the set early (on their entire account). Everyone else will be granted access to it on November 10th.

Issue 15 is now live!

Our next update, appropriately named Issue 15: Anniversary, features a host of new features and content including major updates and improvements to the Mission Architect system. (read more)

5th Column Task Force

Villain Strikeforce (Levels 45 - 50): 5 Missions
- The Villains are hired for what seems like a simple, high-paying job: Steal information from the Hero 1 Time Capsule. Things go awry when the job ends up leading to the return of an enemy from the past. Now the villains have to deal with the mess they've made - while trying to make as much profit from it as possible.
Hero Taskforce (Levels 45 - 50): 5 Missions
- The Heroes follow the trail of some stolen information to find that an old foe is returning... in a big way! Forced to deal with an invasion, the Heroes must scramble to find a way to defeat a seemingly unstoppable enemy.

New Costumes

New Issue 15 costumes include the Vines and Ulterior themed costume sets. More details to come!

Our latest game of choice is Guild Wars Factions. A really good online resource is GuildWiki, a wiki-based community chocked FULL of helpful information for beginners and veterans alike!
